We did get over to Disney for the opening day of the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival yesterday. Since we take Aunti Vi shopping on Wednesdays, we didn't leave until after 4 arriving at EPCOT around 6. We found parking close to the entrance which meant we didn't have to wait for a tram. We walked around both loops and the only thing we didn't get to see, as it was dark by the time we got there, was "Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden" and Minnie's Butterfly House. Both of those exhibits close at dusk. The flowers are beautiful and we are looking forward to going over again. There are many new features this year including several new play zones for various aged children. Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden is a play area for 2-5 year olds. Pirates Adventure Zone is for kids 6 and older. "Let's Get Moving" play area uses Evos Play Systems for older children (6 and up)and Weevos Play Systems for 2-5 year olds. A display of sand sculpture art is featured this year as well as many new topiaries making their debut. Between the two of us we took almost 200 pictures!!
